Volunteer Workteam Directors

            Dave and Bina Huebsch are your volunteer workteam directors. They are the founders of Rising villages, Inc. which is a 501 (C)(3) Minnesota Nonprofit Corporation. Dave is also the founder of Common Hope which presently does human development in many villages in the highlands of Guatemala.   

         Bina, a member of The Association of Christian Therapists, has earned a Certificate in Spiritual Direction, and has worked for many years in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal and has organized many Life in the Spirit Seminars. 

         Dave has conducted a great number of Spirit Alive Retreats, has directed more than thirty Together Encounter Christ (TEC weekends), as well as Fiat retreats. He has completed three years of theology and scripture studies at Sacred Heart School of Theology at Hales Corners, Wisconsin. He is the Author of a new book: Village Assignment which is a collection of 78 remarkable stories of humor, adventure, and drama with the children and families living in Guatemala's highland villages. 

            Dave and Bina, who both have extensive experience in the Healing Ministry, will lead you in a very unique experience, blending the hands-on work with the poor children and families who live in the mountain villages, with time for reflection and spiritual growth. These days will be the best and most unforgettable days for every participant.
